Providence Health & Services Home Health Aide / Certified Nursing Assistant in Medford, Oregon
Providence is calling a Home Health Aide/CNA (1.0 FTE, Days) to Providence Medford Medical Center in Medford, OR.
In this position, you will:
Under the supervision of a registered nurse, provide supportive personal care services and homemaking assistance to patients of all ages according to the individualized physical needs of the patient in accordance with state and federal regulatory requirements.
Perform all duties in a manner which supports team concept of caring and respect which reflects the philosophy of Providence Home Services and Providence Mission and Service Excellence.
Required qualification for this position include:
Current Oregon Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) with 2 years of experience in a health care setting providing hands on patient care (exception would be nursing student with current CNA)
State Home Health Aide certification or Oregon Association of Home Care Home Health Aide (OAHC HHA) exam and on-site skills competency to be successfully completed with a score of 80% or better within 2 weeks of hire
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA-BLS) for Healthcare Provider
Yearly passing of skills observation checklist
In compliance with the Providence Health & Services-OR, criminal background check is required for this position, based on assigned duties
